ARTEFACTS AND STORIES TO ENHANCE STUDENT LEARNING

One of the historic landmarks on Bendigo’s Pall Mall is the Bendigo Soldiers Memorial Institute, built in 1922 to commemorate the service of local men and women during World War One.

Today, the Institute is home to Australia’s leading regional Military Museum, with a combination of records and artefacts which tell the story of local people participating in national and global events.

Join us for an hour’s PD – and discover ways in which Bendigo Military Museum’s collection can be used to meet History and Humanities Curriculum objectives.

Meet our Curator, our volunteer Education Coordinator and join some of our veteran museum guides for this familiarisation visit. Afterwards participate in an informal Q&A with a glass of wine and catering.

This session is structured to meet the requirements of VIT PL standards.
